Information stored on your device

Your check-ins, journal entries, completed-practice count, saved journey IDs, journey playback position, completion history, optional post-journey response, and journey sound preferences are stored in your browser or app storage. Pause does not upload this private record to an account or database. Journey progress is not shared with an employer or organisation. You can export or delete it from the You screen. Clearing browser/app storage also removes it.

Journey playback

Journey metadata, transcripts, timed guidance, procedural ambience, and gentle procedural music are included in the app and can work without external audio streaming. These sounds are generated on the device from original Pause definitions. Optional “Device voice” narration uses voices installed or provided by your browser or operating system; its voice quality and offline availability depend on that device. This release does not claim professional human narration or background playback. Pause does not record, upload, or stream microphone audio, and journeys require no microphone, camera, location, or health-data access.

Saathi AI conversations

When you send a message to Saathi, the latest bounded conversation is sent securely to our server and an AI service provider to produce and safety-check the response. Pause does not add these conversations to your private check-in record or save them in its database. Do not share names, contact details, addresses, medical records, passwords, or other identifying information.

Operational information

Our hosting and API infrastructure may process limited technical information such as request time, network address, response status, and error metadata for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not intentionally place journal text or Saathi message content in application logs.

Permissions and tracking

The initial Pause release does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, health-record, advertising, or notification permissions. It has no advertising SDK and no behavioural advertising profile.

Your choices

You may use breathing, grounding, and journeys without writing anything. You can clear a Saathi conversation at any time, export your local record, or delete all local Pause data. Deleting Pause data permanently removes local journey history from that device.

Urgent support

If you feel unsafe or may harm yourself or someone else, do not rely on Pause, Saathi, or a journey. Contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department, and ask a trusted nearby person to stay with you if you can. Pause does not automatically contact emergency services.

Original content

The immersive journey concept is based on a general guided-visualisation content pattern. No proprietary scripts, names, questions, artwork, audio, scoring systems, clinical claims or programme structures from Meditainment, NWNT or any other product were copied.
